National School Breakfast Week is March 2-6, 2026, and we're calling on you to join the Quest for School Breakfast to help celebrate how a nutritious morning meal supports learning, well-being and equity. Across Virginia, schools are enhancing breakfast programs to make breakfast inviting and accessible for every student and setting students up for success.
More than 15 million students nationwide start their day with a healthy breakfast, and Chesterfield has already served 1,835,902 meals on our quest for success!
To celebrate National School Breakfast Week, Chesterfield County Public School cafeterias are serving five special entrees:
Monday: Strawberry pancake puffs
Tuesday: Cheddar cheese omelet
Wednesday: Strawberry overnight oats
Thursday: Veggie sausage & cheese bagel sandwich
Friday: Cinnamon crumble with yogurt
In addition to these royally delicious meals, students who eat school breakfast this week will be entered to win a book!
Elementary and middle school students will get the chance to win: Everything Castles, a book about castles, how they were built, and life inside, with fun facts and photos. High school students will get the chance to win DK Eyewitness: Knights, a book exploring knights, armor, and medieval life through detailed images and fascinating facts.
Families can view their school's meal menus on SchoolCafe.
